Get Set Up

Match these settings in your Zoom desktop client for the best audio quality.

1. Click the settings cog to open the Zoom settings.

Adjust these settings using the Zoom desktop app, not the browser version of Zoom.
The settings layout may look slightly different depending on which Zoom version you are using.

2. Under the audio tab, ensure that the speaker is set to your headphones.

3. Ensure that the microphone is set to the correct microphone.

Ensure that the "speaker" is set to your headphones.

4. Scroll down, and set the audio profile to "Original sound for musicians".

5. Make sure that "Echo cancellation" is disabled.

6. Navigate to the "Recording" tab.

7. Select where you would like your files to be stored (do not store files in the cloud).

8. Click on "Advanced".

9. After clicking the Advanced button, ensure that "Record separate participant audio files" is enabled.
